Why do I have to use a bank card when the game is free

This monopoly is not ok. You need a board to play. Make one that you can play without one.

After trying each card I can usually get the phone to recognize it after the 10th time. Waste of time. Doesnt have all the cards to play without electronics either.

This is a great game, ignore the one star reviews. The people who have wrote one star reviews on here (who I can only assume are children) didnt even read the description. Its not Hasbros fault if you dont own the game. This is a fun way of incorporating technology into Monopoly. Would recommend the purchase.

We really like the new twist in one of our favorite games. We like the Chance Card challenges and that we would not have to keep up with the $$$. But the cards take 30 swipes and 5 minutes to read on my iPhone 6. It gets very tedious and makes us give up after a bit. Hope an update may be released to make the card reader work better.

It sounds bad so I not going to get it because people are saying you to have the game board to do it so it deserves a 1star rating.

Do not follow reviews all the time because i downloaded the app and i looked at the reviews before i played and then i played and it was awesome

It said to scan credit card! Jeez, its like they wanted me to play monopoly in real life! Yeah, nobody got time for dat. Uninstalling

It used to work very well and added quite a bit of fun to this classic game but after upgrading to iPhone 6 Plus from iPhone 4s the cards dont get detected so the game is completely unplayable.

Get the game only if you have the board game

Whether on my iPhone or iPad, the bank cards must be scanned so many times to get it to work just once that it ruins the game. It becomes so slow and boring that no one wants to play. Traditional Monopoly with a math-challenged banker is faster!!
